GUIDED TOURS
Ingmar Bergman in Helsingborg
Join us on a film tour together with the guide Ingrid Persson Skog if you are curious about Ingmar Bergman's Helsingborg. He became the country's youngest theater director when he was employed at Helsingborg's city theater, which was urgently threatened with closure. Bergman was active there from 1944 to 1946. A few years later, he returned to the area in connection with the recordings of "A lesson in love" and "To joy". The latter takes place in and around Helsingborg in both the film and reality. Scenes from Ramlösa and Pålsjö forest appear in the films, but also the Strandpromenade and central environments such as Kärnan, the City Hall, Tycho Brahe's place, etc.
