The UFO-monument in Ängelholm
"Some go as far as they want to visit Ängelholm!" is a famous slogan that was once coined on the occasion of Gösta "Pollenkungen" Carlsson's story about an unexpected encounter with a UFO in the Siberian forest on May 18, 1946. The place lives in the hearts of the Angel Islanders. Over the decades, many walks and jogs have gone to the UFO monument that Gösta Carlsson had erected in the 70s in memory of the event that changed his life forever. There the ideas were born that would lead to successful business and later great involvement in sports, not least Rögle BK.
